Infertile = less worthy?
I’m sure if you are reading this blog, you can relate (at least somewhat). I have a very fertile brother and he and his wife have 3 children between them. They are also very manipulative and take advantage of my parents. This causes them great pain, especially since they have the only grandchildren. It’s not like my husband and I haven’t been trying to get pregnant.
So, my husband and I invited my parents to dinner Friday night, but my mom was still working and said “let’s try later this weekend”. It was a holiday weekend, so there were lots of days to choose from. Anyway, they never got together with us. They had me run something over to them at the store on Sunday, but they had to hurry and get home. Then my brother’s wife actually let them watch the kids on Monday, so we didn’t get to have our dinner – or even a phone call about dinner – all weekend. Grandkids and selfish parents come first.
Why does it feel like infertility makes you a non-person?
